Active24 is part of the Norwegian Visma Group, specializing in domain registration and hosting services.

The company has been present in Poland since 2002, serving clients such as Telewizja Polsat or Raiffeisen Bank Polska.

Ogicom, as a hosting company created by WSE-listed R22 holding to consolidate the hosting market in CEE, was looking actively for acquisition targets in Poland, while Visma looked to divest its hosting assets in Poland and focus on the development of its software business.

Ogicom, following the M&A strategy of its parent company – R22 – acquired Active24 from Visma in 2017.

Aventis Advisors served as an exclusive financial advisor to Visma in the transaction.
