Ascendis Health is a health and wellness products company, founded in 2008 and listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

Background

Scitec Nutrition, a Hungarian sports nutrition manufacturer, operated its own R&D department and a modern production facility. As one of the most globally recognized brands in the industry, Scitec exported its products to over 90 countries. Since 2012, it had been owned by the Polish private equity fund Enterprise Investors.

Ascendis focused on continuously expanding its health product portfolio and international presence, growing through acquisitions since 2015.
